Use in what way?

Calling between two parties on the same LAN should be straightforward. The
simplest way to initiate the call is to call directly in NetMeeting using
the other's IP address as the calling address. Other call initiation
strategies could also be used.

Calling to and from parties outside the LAN would require might be more
complicated depending on what device fronts the LAN. Some sort of
gateway/gatekeeper is required for two way audio/video and calling in and
out.( http://www.openh323.org has an open source gatekeeper,
http://www.dialupaudio.com/dualgatekeeper.html has a commercial product)
