The company I'm working for had call display working, every set would
show
the incoming number. At some point it stopped working, perhaps after a
power
failure. Call display is on the line from the telco. It worked before
so it
seems to be that I need to turn on the feature through the programming
except
the manual is pretty weak at this point - **266344, enter the set
number which
is fine but then it reverts to press SHOW, press Next 4 times, press
SHOW
without saying what you should see in the menu. I've hunted around
looking
for the last item where it says I should see 1stDisplay: but can't find
it.

Anyone know the menu choices?

Any good pictoral representation around on the net would be another
question?

I finally figured out where the option should be under
"Terminals&Sets > Telco Features" but when I select that
option for a particular set I get a "No lines assigned"
instead of the expected call display menu of "1stDisplay:".
I'm guessing another menu choice will turn on this ability.

Ring a bell for anyone?

Don

You have no CLID comming up? If a call is ringing a set and you do feature
811 do you see info?

Go into terminal and sets and go to telco features show CLASS ASSIGNMENT
show show line _ _ _ (whatever) caller id set should be yes.
