OSM 4.100 and Device Manager JDM_5920.exe |
|
|
I need to upgrade my OSM device manager to JDM_5920 but when I install it
kills OSM. I change the default directory to OSM for the JDM install. Is
that not correct? Anybody successfully completed this upgrade?
Thanks in advance,

Hi John,
You need to do the following:
1) In the OSM directory, you need to edit the DM.LAX file and alter the
launch to
lax.dir=C:\\Nortel\\JDM5920\\ <--- ie the directory where JDM 5920
is installed. NB. the double "\\"
2) Backup the JDM.JAR file from the OSM directory
3) Copy and Replace the JDM.JAR file from the JDM5920 directory to the
OSM folder.
4) DONE
I hope this helps.
