Netmeeting on XP receives message that it is unable to
connect to any of the diredtory servers. I am sitting
behind a Linksys BEFSR41 router and a cable modem. I am
able to initiate chat/voice/video connections thru
Messenger.

Any suggestions

Which servers are you including in "any"? The Microsoft Internet Directory
is no more -- so if you trying to connect to it you willl certainly get a
message.

The router will mean that you will be unable to receive incoming calls via
an ILS. You should however be able to make outgoing calls. The BEFSR41 also
has a built in H.323 proxy ( assuming recent firmware) so audio/video calls
should be possible with no special configuration.
