Faxing from Call Pilot |
|
|
We are using Call Pilot on the desktops for inbound faxing. However,
users now want the capability for outbound faxing. We are told that in
order to do that, we (IT) have to add all the area codes in to the
server system os all the locations that our users might call. Well,
this would be all of them (hundreds). Is this really true? Just from a
common sense perspective, this seems bananas. Any ideas anyone? |

Typically you just need to tell the CP how to dial. For example, ine the
US, typically everything is 1+10 digits for LD, local calling is usually
NPA-NXX-XXXX or NXX-XXXX. Usally a dozen (give or take) will do.
