I have a board that accepts 100Base-X optical SFPs (FX, BX10, etc.). I
am looking for a copper SFP that supports 100Base-TX. However, all the
SFPs I have found so far are 10/100/1000Base-TX, and will only talk to a
GbE MAC. I need something that will talk to an FE PHY/MAC, with an MII
connection to the switch. Any suggestions?

Howdy Dan,

I've never heard of an SFP that would do what you want (basicly
100Base-TX to something SMII-like). There are quite a number of media
converter boxes out there that would do what you need though. Here is
but one:

Good luck,
