I use Sprint DSL Modem 645. Past few weeks getting frequent disconnects
requiring reboots. Sprint tech says it is something in my Win98SE doing
this. It disconnects after using IE and then being idle for awhile. Any help
appreciated. Jerry in Vegas

J in Vegas....

If you losing your sync light on the dsl modem, you likely do not hav
all your phones filtered in the house... Make sure you have filters o
ALL phones, fax, standalone caller id/answering machines, satellit
recievers, tivo, and possibly even your home alarm (phone) system. I
you are still having problems AFTER all is filtered, make sure you
telephone line from to the dsl modem is short (10 feet or less)....
long phone lines act as an antenna.

Good Luck
