sorry. |
it is from my side that gives that remote one is of the firewalls.
All the functions of the VPN are OK. On that what can depend this problem?
Thanks to all

I am not totally sure what you mean by "active sharing". What happens when
this doesn't work? When if fails do other NetMeeting data functions work (
whiteboard, file transfer, text chat)? |

No any data function, in the title bar appear "not in a call", I've disable |
the MS Firewall on XPsp2, this problem affect client with XPsp2 and W2ksp4
but not on the server, on the servers (3, 2 win2k server and 1 Win2k3
standard) all works perfectly. I've checked all configuration (IP, gateway,
Ipfilter,DNS and Dhcp) but I havent found the possible solution.
Thanks

I don't know what the problem might be. From what you say the call connects
(at least the audio/video part of the call) but no data functions are
available ?(most NetMeeting calls are really two calls in parallel - and
H.323 one for audio/video and a T.120 call for data -- it is possible to
have a call with only one part active)
Data function in NetMeeting uses on tcp 1503. You could try to connect in a
data only call to see if it connects at all. An easy way to force a data
only call is to make a "secure" call. If there is no connection(but an
audio/video call connects) then something in the link is blocking tcp 1503. |
