Camera problems |

Hi
Can anyone please tell me why it is that when I receive video images from
people the picture always breaks up into squares, my own image seems ok on
"My Video" I am running Win XP HE and a basic logitech cam, ( I never had
this problem before I installed Win XP )
Thanks. |

Often this is a bandwidth related issue and related to who the partner is
and the time of day. If this is the cause there is not much you can do
about it. Netmeeting/H.323's designed response to packet loss is move to
the pixelated display/transmission strategy that you see.
One other thing that can cause bandwidth related problems is the use of the
QoS Packet Scheduler. This feature is enabled by default but seems to cause
problems in stand alone systems and small networks. You could try disabling
it(http://radio.weblogs.com/0127028/2004/10/18.html) to see if that helps. |
