I've seen a recommendation that the timing parameters for an RSTP
network (max age, forwarding delay, etc.) be consistent throughout the
network. While I haven't come up with a good reason to have them
different, I wonder what the rationale is for keeping them the same.
Any insight would be appreciated.... TIA.
