I have a passport 5430 that i recently put some quad serial boards in. I
am experiencing weird behavior and lock-ups of the router whenever I try
to enable the ports.

Nortel has a document (CSB-0311006) that says it addresses "Passport
5430 with Quad Serial PMC Module (DU2104003) installed experiencing
System Hangs and Packet Corruption" which sound like what I have.

Problem is I can only view it with a valid support contract, which I
don't have.

Anytone know what is in this document or know what can be causing the
problems I am seeing?

Basically, it's saying you may experience lockups/hangs if you're using this
module with a system processor < Rev 3. They also recommend BayRS 15.4.2.2
as it has been upgraded to improve performance and reliability of the
module.
