Hello Haim,
Allthough I do not know what can be done about the PBX and/or the GSM GW I can
see the following happening:
Frame 1 and 2 contain the RELEASE and RELEASE COMPLETE of the previous error
after the layer2 has been started again (look at the layer 2 sequence numbers
being 0.
From then on a new attempt is seen:
Frame 6: GSM GW sends a SETUP using layer2 snd seq nr 1.
Frame 7: The PBX responds with CALL PROC, followed later on by
Frame 9: ALERTING and
Frame11: CONNECT some 1.8 seconds after the ALERTING.
After that the GSM GW attempts to CONNECT ACK the CONNECT from the PBX:
Frame13: This is the CONNECT ACK from the GSM GW. Note that it uses the
layer2 snd seq nr 1! This is the same as used for the SETUP message.
As the PBX does not expect this message with snd seq nr 1 it does REJ the
frame at layer2. So the PBX discards the CONNECT ACK and will keep waiting for
it at layer3.
The layer2 is also reset with a SABME / UA cycle (frames 15 and 16).
After some time the corresponding layer3 timer (T313) expires and the PBX
clears the connection according to the spec. That is the reason you see the
DISCCONNECT with cause #102 (frame 17).
So the problem lies with the GSM GW. It uses a wrong "snd seq nr" on the
CONNECT ACK frame.
