hi people,

is it possible to have two 1200 aps forwarding traffic
across the radio interface without any logical
adresses involved? i reckon this happening similar
to a vlan, traffic just gets forwarded in between
them per definition of both of them belonging to a
single vlan. ideally including some sort of
encryption also being involved.

any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

thank you and cheers,

sven

Interestingly, Yes, it appears you can set up transparent bridging on
1200's.

Look down to 'Configuring Filters Using the CLI' and note the link
to the standard Cisco IOS Bridging documentation. Follow further down
and notice that on the 1200 you are allowed to create ethertype filters
(something that wouldn't be of much use if only IP was allowed.)
