If the parties you want to call had fixed IP addresses(or fixed computer
names) this would be pretty simple -- but I am guessing that is not the
case. If all users used a dynamic dns service like http://www.dyndns.org/
they could have fixed names and satisfy the requirements.
If they logged into known ILS servers it would be simple as well (you would
create a directory of ils server/email address combos).
Assuming either of these you can create a series of .cnf files (format
defined at http://www.meetingbywire.com/CNFFileFormat.htm ) in the
"speeddial" directory of the NetMeeting install directory ( usually
c:\Program Files\NetMeeting\). You can access these "Speed dials" by using
"Call"->"Directory" and selecting "Speed dial" from the drop down menu.

Can someone please tell me how can I create such a directory local to myself
to achieve my objective ?

If the other party's IP addresses change (as many user's do) then there is
nothing you can do.

Or Can I associate an IP address to an existing hotmail address book for
this purpose ?

Msn Messenger used to have a NetMeeting call capability so you could call
users on your buddy list but that feature has disappeared in Messenger. |
