What "connection" are you trying -- I don't see any problem at my end with
"freezing" but an attempt to login to the server you mention does fail
(after a timeout period).

Logging into a server if you are behind a router makes no sense (unless the
server operates differently from normal ILS servers) -- you can never be
called.

I manage to see the directory of ils.compiegne.com and i saw only 5 or 6
people connected. This server is always full.

I suggest you contact the operators of the server.

It is more than likely a problem with "ils.compiegne.com" -- have you tried
other servers -- I see only 6 listed there as well and it is very slow to
download the directory.

NetMeeting's retirement has been announced by Microsoft but I can't see
where this problem is related.
