Netmeeting setup |

Is it possible to setup Netmeeting on XP SP1 for image deployment with accept
calls and RDS activated?
I created such an image, then ran sysprep, the resulting image has
netmeeting RDS in the system tray, but the workstation will not accept calls.
Thanks. |

RDS must be activated by right clicking on the system tray icon and
selecting activate.
I don't know how to activate it automatically ( but maybe examining
registry and other changes made when activation happens could provide
enough information to do it)

I am also having this problem with SP2. Unfortunately when you select the activation option it does not really activate. You can open the options again and activate is still the only option. I'm digging for a solution. If I find a solution I'll post it here.
To compound this problem the only way to fix this issue is to remove NetMeeting entirely. Then you start the loop again (configure netmeeting, run sysprep etc..). |

Thanks! I'm still digging as well and I also will post if I find the
solution. And you're certainly right about having to remove netmeeting to
fix it once sysprep does its thing. Interestingly enough, I observed similar
results with the opensource "TightVNC" i.e. does not connect after the
sysprep - |
