All,

My company currently uses a 64k leased line to the internet for external
monitoring of web sites (we have 4mb for the main connection). The 64k line
is rather expensive and i am looking at ISDN and ADSL in the UK as
alternatives. Apart from cost differences my main concern is reliability and
service. Ignoring cost, what are the differences in reliability and service
between LL, ISDN and ADSL?
One thing that bothers me is that ive heard BT are more likely to respond
and fix a LL problem than ISDN and ADSL. ADSL would be my choice based on
price (im aware of the contention ratios), but is ISDN any more reliable?

Comments and thoughts most appreciated.

Cheers

Andy

In the US at least, ISDN is far more reliable because it is telephone
service and held to the standard for same. ADSL is not.

How true that is in the UK is an open question.
