I'd like to configure Netmeeting in a LAN with 60 PC's. But I don't know how
videoconference would work ....even though I know that it depends on the
PC's memory, processor and HD space, What conditions would be necessary
(Hardware, network equipment, etc) to make it work at least in a acceptable
way?

I am not sure what you mean here -- the number of PC's in the LAN is not of
consequence. What do you want to do? Call within the LAN, from computers in
the LAN to computers outside, from outside computers to inside or all of
the above.

What sort of video conference did you have in mind? NetMeeting alone
supports one to one video calls? Is that what you want to do? A number of
coincident video calls should be possible on even low speed LANs (how many
calls at a time do you need? how fast is the LAN? what else would be going
on at the same time?).

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/NetMeeting/Corp/reskit/Chapter7/default.asp
has a discussion of bandwidth needs and some benchmarks that might help you
determine NetMeeting bandwidth requirements.

Almost any modern computer has more than enough computing power to
participate in a Large video based NetMeeting call. The limiting factor
would likely be the network bandwidth. Using the bandwidth benchmarks,
knowing the maximum number of simultaneous calls should allow you to
determine average and peak bandwidth requirements. Knowing the available
network bandwidth and other bandwidth requirements should help you
determine whether what you plan is possible or not.
