I've got the following connected via a fibre patch cable (62.5/125um):

Accelar 1150, Software Release: 2.0.5.5
BayStack 470-48T: HW:#05 FW:3.0.0.5 SW:v3.0.3.08 ISVN:2

The link light sometimes comes on, sometimes not on the 470. There are
only TX/RX lights on the Accelar, so I cannot tell the link status
there (other than the light goes from amber to off when I connect the
fibre). The Activity light flicks on the 470 once in a while, but it
is probably just the switch sending broadcasts (there should be tonnes
of other broadcast traffic from the rest of the network that I should
get). The TX/RX lights on the Accelar do not come on at all.

The Accelar is connected to the following, and the 1000-base-sx
connection works properly with it.

BayStack 450-24T: HW:RevL FW:V1.36 SW:v3.1.1 ISVN:1

Does anyone have any idea why I cannot get traffic to cross over the
gigabit connections on the 470?

Thanks,
Thomas

Hi tomas,

Try to disable autonegotiation on Accelar side, it works for me.

Thanks for the tip... I'll try that on Monday.

What firmware versions are you using in the Accelar?

Disabling the autonegotiation on the Accelar fixed the problem.

Thanks,
Thomas
