I have a number of users in the systems that I maintain that are reporting
the following dialing problem. The user will dial a number on their Norstar
set, they see the number in their display, but the number they reach is
different. Here's how the system is setup. My PBX's (Opt 81, 61, all
25.40B) provide "trunks" to the Norstar systems via OPX cards. This does
not happen all the time and certainly not when I show up to trouble shoot!
Any ideas or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Please, if you reply
to this post, please also reply direct to my email at ryte@mindspring.com
Thanks for pondering.

Negative. Eventually, they reach the party that they originally tried to
reach... Any other ideas?

a little more info would be helpful, how far are they from the 81, are
repeaters involved, have you tested the circuits themselves, if so what are
the levels.

Have you placed a digit grabber at both ends to verify digits sent and
received?
