CICS 6.1 Line 3 & 4 has no dial tone or ring tone |

Hi all,
I am new to Norstar CICS 6.1
I have 4 Analog Lines Hooked up and have 5 T7316E telephone sets have all 4
lines to appear & ring.
4th button on the left side is Line 1
5th Line 2
6th Line 3
7th Line 4
When I press Line 1 or 2, I get dial tone and I can make the call. However,
when I press either Line 3 or 4, I get no dial tone.
I try calling Line 3 and 4 directly I hear it ringing from my cell phone but
none of the telephone sets actually ring or blink.
Some suggested it could be a bad trunk card. Some also suggested reversed
polarity of those 2 lines.
All setting on the Line 1 are copied to Line 2, 3, and 4 to avoid any
difference in setup.
Appreciate any help or suggestion. Thank you |

Sounds like a bad trunk card. Do you have a butt set to test the lines
before they go into the system? Or you could rewire line 1 to 3 and 2 to 4
to see if they work on the system in those positions.

Make sure you skip two on the trunk connection. L1,L2,NC,NC,L3,L4,NC,NC
