netmeeting freezes

i have windows xp and have service pack 2 installed and every time i make a
call neetmeting freezes and stops responding after connecting. any help
would be great .thanks

The problem is more likely related to sound card or capture/camera drivers
-- do you have a camera? Do you have the latest up-to-date drivers for your
devices?

What happens if you make a secure (=data only) call?

one more thing it works fine when i get a call only freezes when i make a
call

I haven't heard of a problem specifically like that but I would still make
sure the camera/sound card drivers are the most recent.

Trying a data only call should help determine if audio/video calling is a
requirement for the problem.

now it's doing it when i get a call. iv'e tried everything you said and

So a data only call (forced by using "secure" call settings) produces the
same result?
