Is it possible to login to the PBX with your password from an Ethernet
connection instead of a modem? I successfully changed the IP address of the
Ethernet port and can "Ping" it but what port/protocol would you use?
Also, is it possible to use some sort of command to actually cause an
extension to dial? I can obviously program a key as auto-dial and then
manually hit the key on the phone but it would be nice if I could also tell
it to make that the active key and actually dial. There is also the problem
of modifying the phone in LD 20 since it would reset the phone each time and
if a second call was on hold....
I have spoke with some people about TAPI but it is a huge expense and what I
need to do seems so simple.
